Oh, frustration...

I am giving up for the time being on Lotus Blossom Tank. I've tried to knit this thing several times. First, I twisted my stitches while joining in the round. On subsequent attempts, I screwed up the lace pattern and could not figure out where I had goofed. So it is currently sitting there in the corner of my office, lonely, needing love. I will re-start it again sometime in the future. I like the pattern. It's pretty. I just need a break.

Betty,

That's a bummer it's not working for you right now. Hopefully a break is all you need.

Since the first few rows are garter stitch, you could knit them back and forth and join in the round before the first lace row. That way it would be easier to see if it's twisted and just sew up the seam with the yarn tail. (Of course I figured this out *after* I started)

My sympathies. When you are ready to pick it up again, use all these photos and advice as inspiration: These knitters on this KAL are packed full of advice and pretty pictures.

I'm in the same boat, Betty. After I frogged for about the third time I decided to take a break. I haven't picked it up again yet but I hope to before it gets too cold to wear it.
