My friends Julie and Rosemary over at the Craftborg Podcast plugged this KAL on their podcast this week. They said the lotus blossoms look like little alien heads. They might be right.
Go have a listen. It's within the first 5 minutes of the show so if you don't want to listen to whole thing, you could stop after they talk about the KAL.

Thanks for the plug Betty! I'm beginning to resent those little alien heads...it really is a lovely tank...
I thought they looked like alien heads too, but I am trying not to. I did consider trying to find a different lace pattern but then it would be a different tank entirely and i wouldn't be able to stay in the KAL.
Alien heads or not, I doubt I'd *not* knit it because of that. It is lovely, really.
